These terms cover your use of tomphillipslabs.com, operated by Tom Phillips, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Tom Phillips Labs. The site is a portfolio, a description of software available under licence, and a way to get in touch. Nothing is sold through this site directly.

A portfolio of software I have built, written up as build notes; descriptions of products available under licence elsewhere, each with their own terms; a description of client work I take on; and a contact form. The site is provided as is, without warranty.
§02The writing and code samples
The words, design and images here are mine, and remain my copyright. You are welcome to quote or link to them with attribution. Please don't republish whole articles.
Code snippets shown inside build notes are illustrative. Use them freely at your own risk; they are extracts for explanation, not maintained libraries.
§03Accuracy
Build notes describe systems at the time of writing. Details go out of date, and nothing here is professional advice — particularly the material touching AI governance, ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act. Don't rely on it for a compliance decision without taking proper advice.
§04Third-party products
Products described here are operated separately and under their own terms and privacy policies. Their inclusion is a description of work done, not an offer or a warranty.
§05Enquiries and engagements
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, or a commitment to take on work. Descriptions of services are indicative only.
Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, price, timescales, intellectual property and liability. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement wins. Sending an enquiry creates no contract and no obligation on either side.
§06Acceptable use
Don't attempt to interfere with the site, attack it, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others. Responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities to tom@tomphillipslabs.com is welcome and won't lead to legal action.
§07Liability
To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

What little data the site collects is covered by the Privacy Policy.

These terms may change; the effective date above tracks the most recent revision.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
